Kim Bernhardt

Kim Bernhardt is an arbitrator and mediator who has completed the Arbitrator Development Program and is on the Ministry of Labour's Section 49 list. She is also a part-time member of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO). Previous appointments include being a part-time member of the Public Service Grievance Board and the Human Rights Board of Inquiry; being a member of the HRTO Advisory Practice Committee; and acting as the Law Society of Ontario's representative on the Ontario Judicial Council. Kim has also previously worked as a union staff member and as a human rights officer, and she has 15 years of practice in the areas of employment, labour, and human rights law. She continues to be engaged in many volunteer activities and speaking engagements involving legal and equity issues.

Kim holds a B.A. (Hons.) in political science and history from the University of Toronto and an LL.B and an LL.M in administrative law from Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993.
