David Yazbeck

David Yazbeck is a partner at Raven, Cameron, Ballantyne & Yazbeck. He practises exclusively in the areas of labour relations, human rights, judicial review and appeals, Charter litigation, and employment law, with emphasis on the federal public sector. David has a particular expertise in employee free speech, and has represented or advised whistleblowers in a variety of contexts and in some of this area's leading cases. His practice is restricted to the representation of unions, employees, and human rights complainants before administrative tribunals and court at all levels. David regularly appears in the Federal Court on judicial review applications and appeals. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Advocates' Society, and is a Director of the Workers' History Museum. He often speaks on labour, human rights, and whistleblowing issues.

David holds a B.A. (Honours) in Philosophy and Political Science from McMaster University (1988) and an LL.B. from Queen's University (1991). He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993.
