Amandi Esonwanne

Amandi Esonwanne is a lawyer in the Employment Law Section of the City of Toronto's Legal Services Division. After law school, he articled with the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario in the areas of employment standards and occupational health and safety prosecution. Since 2006, he has practised law in Toronto, briefly as counsel with the Real Estate Commission of Ontario and, since 2007, as a solicitor with the City of Toronto, with a focus on human rights law, labour and employment law, occupational health and safety law, workplace investigations, and workers' compensation.

Amandi has published articles in Canadian Employment Law Today, the Canadian Journal of Administrative Law & Practice, and The Advocates' Quarterly (on accommodation).

Amandi holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English from the University of Nigeria, an M.A. in English from the University of Toronto, and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. He also holds a Certificate in Technical Communication from George Brown College. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.
