Patricia Harewood

Patricia Harewood currently works as in-house counsel for the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the largest union in Canada's federal public sector. From 2009 to 2015, she worked as a bilingual Grievance and Adjudication Officer for PSAC, representing hundreds of workers across the country on a wide range of issues, including human rights grievances, privacy complaints, and terminations. Currently, Patricia provides advice to the elected leadership and staff, litigates various complaints and judicial review matters, and provides instructions to external counsel. She has also worked as a litigator at the Department of Justice and in the para-public sector as a community development worker.

Patricia holds a B.A. from McGill University and an LL.L. (Droit Civil) and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2006.
