Dr. Scot Purdon

Dr. Scot Purdon has been a clinical neuropsychologist at the Alberta Hospital Edmonton for the past 24 years, providing clinical consultation to individuals suffering from a variety of psychiatric disorders. He is also a clinical professor of psychiatry and the director of the Bebensee Schizophrenia Research Unit at the University of Alberta. Scot's research has primarily focused on cognitive effects of pharmacotherapy, but he is also currently engaged in a study of the duration of residual cognitive effects of cannabis.

Scot holds a doctorate from Vanderbilt University and he completed residency in clinical neuropsychology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago.
