Heather Cameron

Heather Cameron is a Senior Associate in the Labour and Employment group of Norton Rose Fulbright, located in the Ottawa office. She practises in all areas of employment, labour, privacy, and human rights laws in both the federal and provincial jurisdictions.

Heather regularly works with employers to draft policies, best practices, and protocols to ensure legislative compliance and minimize risk, including but not limited to employment standards, anti-harassment and anti-bullying, disability accommodation, privacy, and occupational health and safety practices. She has also advised and represented employers in contract negotiations, wrongful and unjust dismissal suits, human rights tribunal proceedings, judicial review applications, and labour board proceedings.

Heather regularly advises employers, agencies, service providers, companies, and health care providers on the proper collection, use, disclosure, and security of protected personal information. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the County of Carleton Law Association.

Heather holds a B.A. (Hons.) and a J.D. from Queen's University. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010.
