Dr. Daniela Lobo

Dr. Daniela Lobo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, and Staff Psychiatrist and Addictions Education Coordinator at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Her research has been funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and by the Ontario Problem Gambling Research Centre and has been published in high-impact journals.

Dr. Lobo has been treating individuals affected by gambling disorders, substance addiction, and other excessive behaviours for 18 years. She has been Staff Psychiatrist for the Problem Gambling and Technology Service at CAMH for 11 years. Dr. Lobo also coordinates the educational experience in addictions for all psychiatry residents and fellows at CAMH.

Dr. Lobo completed her residency in psychiatry and obtained her Ph.D. in psychiatric genetics at the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
