Gwen Gray

Gwen Gray has practised in the areas of labour, employment, and human rights law since 1979. She was Vice-Chair of the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board from 1995 to 1997, and Chair from 1997 to 2003. Previously, from 1992 to 1994, Gwen was an associate with Chivers, Greckol and Kanee and returned to the firm in 2003, becoming a partner in 2004. She retired from Chivers Carpenter in 2013. Gwen was appointed Essential Services Commissioner and Vice-Chair of the Alberta Labour Relations Board on June 1, 2016.

Gwen holds a B.A. and an LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan, and an LL.M. from Cornell Law School. She was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1979, the Alberta Bar in 1993, and appointed Queen's Counsel in 2001.
