Joseph Shaw

Joseph Shaw is a lawyer at Harris and Company, where he provides advice and representation to employers on a broad range of issues relating to labour relations, employment, and human rights. He advises both public and private sector employers involved in a wide range of activities, including forestry, First Nations, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, property management, technology, health care, and hospitality.

Joseph has presented papers and training sessions on labour and employment law matters and has been a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and various continuing legal education programs. He is also a member of the Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia, and the Employment and Labour Law Subsections of the Canadian Bar Association. Joseph received a B.B.A. from Acadia University in 1990, a J.D. from the University of Detroit in 1994, and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1994. He was called to the British Columbia and New York Bars in 1997, and the Ontario Bar in 1996.
