Marino Sveinson

Marino Sveinson is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada and the Local Practice Chair for the Vancouver office of the Employment & Labour Group. He provides strategic result-oriented advice and representation to employers with respect to all aspects of workplace law in unionized and non-union environments, in both the provincial and federal sectors. Marino has represented clients at all levels of the courts in British Columbia, federal court, collective agreement arbitrations, human rights tribunals, provincial and federal labour relations boards, and workers compensation tribunals. He is currently the Chair of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE) Human Rights Subcommittee. Marino is recognized as a leading lawyer in the Chambers Canada Guide 2017 in the area of Employment & Labour in British Columbia, and is rated in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as Repeatedly Recommended in the area of Workplace Human Rights – Employer.

Marino holds a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and an LL.B. from the University of Toronto. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2000, and the Yukon Bar in 2014.
