Sonia Regenbogen

Sonia Regenbogen has dedicated her practice for more than a decade to representing both federally and provincially regulated employers in labour, employment and human rights law matters. She regularly represents employers before arbitrators, tribunals, labour relations boards and the courts. Sonia has been recognized each year since 2010 by Who's Who Legal's International Who's Who of Management Labour & Employment Lawyers as among the world's leading management labour employment lawyers. Sonia is also frequently retained to conduct workplace investigations into allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination and other employee complaints. Furthermore, Sonia is an adjunct faculty member at Queen's University Faculty of Law, where she has been teaching Employment Law since 2005.

Sonia also practices in the field of international labour law and has represented Canadian employers at the International Labour Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations. She is presently the Employer Spokesperson on the Application of Standards Committee at the ILO, a committee which supervises the application of international labour standards by member States. Sonia regularly advises both Canadian and multinational employers on a full range of cross-border and international labour and employment matters.

Sonia holds a B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Windsor, and has also completed the Mediator Training Court at Harvard Law School.
