Michael is a partner at Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark. He has over 20 years' experience advising employers on workplace law issues and is a certified human resources professional. Michael serves as counsel to employers in the oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, municipal and health care sectors, and the hospitality industry. He has also worked in-house as a labour and employee relations specialist for companies with operations in multiple Canadian jurisdictions, the U.S., and Mexico.
Michael focuses on the representation of employers in collective bargaining, before labour relations boards, human rights tribunals and in arbitration hearings. He also assists clients with policy development and implementation, workplace harassment complaints and investigations, conducting labour relations training and performing employee relations audits.
Michael holds a B.A. and an LL.B. from the University of Victoria.
