Twila Marston is a trade unionist working with the Ontario Public Service (OPS) for the past 29 years, both as a member and as staff. She is currently the Supervisor, Local Services, Ontario Public Service & Equity Unit.
As a member she held various positions within the union, including steward, local president, 1st Chair of the Provincial Human Rights Committee, Executive Board Member of the Local Labour Council, Ministry of the Attorney General Vice-Chair of the Employee Relations Committee, and has sat on various government and union joint committees. She has worked as an organizer, staff representative, senior job security officer, and supervisor within the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU).
Twila was a municipal councillor for a ten-year period, and was on the first right to strike negotiating team as Vice-Chair of the Office Administrative Category, where she negotiated the first set of essential and emergency services agreements for the Union.
