Gordon Nekolaichuk assists employers with all aspects of the employment relationship in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces in a variety of industries across Alberta. He represents clients before arbitrators, labour relations boards, human rights commissions, and courts at all levels. Gordon also represents individual employees with regard to contract negotiation and termination.
Prior joining Miller Thomson LLP, Gordon clerked for the Court of Queens' Bench in Edmonton, Alberta from 2011-2012. He has since appeared before most levels of Court in Alberta, and multiple administrative tribunals including the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, Alberta Labour Relations Board, and Canada Industrial Relations Board. Gordon has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada as junior counsel in a labour and administrative law matter. He has also taught labour law at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law.
Gordon holds a B.A. (history and philosophy, with distinction) and an LL.B. (with distinction), both from the University of Alberta.
