April Kosten is a partner in the Employment and Labour group in Denton Canada's Calgary office. Her practice focuses on management side labour, employment, human rights, administrative and privacy law.
April advises and represents employers on a number of matters including collective bargaining and the administration of collective agreements, employee terminations and departures, provincial and federal human rights issues, and the interpretation and application of labour and employment legislation both federally and provincially. She further has extensive experience in advising on workplace health and safety matters, including alcohol and drug testing.
April has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Alberta Labour Relations Board and Boards of Arbitration.
