Meg Ternes

Meg Ternes is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Saint Mary's University (SMU). She teaches classes in research methods and a variety of forensic psychology topics. After completing her Ph.D., Meg worked for five years at the Correctional Service of Canada's research branch. In addition to teaching at SMU, Meg also runs a forensic psychology research lab where she and her students explore topics at the intersection of psychology and the legal system, including correctional psychology, investigative interviewing, and credibility assessment.

Meg holds a B.A. from St. Francis Xavier University (2001) and an M.A. (2003) and a Ph.D. (2009) in Forensic Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
