Jesse Elders

Jesse Elders is a partner at Kastner Lam LLP, where she provides legal advice and representation for employees, employers, and trade unions. She regularly handles legal issues relating to termination of employment, constructive dismissal, harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination.

Jesse is frequently retained to conduct independent investigations into highly sensitive matters within workplaces and other institutions. She also offers workplace restoration and mediation services, as well as training and coaching on workplace conflict management, human rights and accommodation, and employment standards.

Jesse is committed to innovation within the legal profession. At Kastner Lam LLP, Jesse is responsible for the design and implementation of progressive systems to ensure effective, human-centred legal service delivery. Jesse also offers innovation consulting services within the legal sector more broadly, and she volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario.

Before practising with Kastner Lam LLP, Jesse was a litigation associate at Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP, where she maintained a broad civil litigation practice.

Jesse holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law (2014), where she was awarded the Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP Prize for first-place standing in contract law. She also holds a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Toronto (2011).
