Standard Fees for Cancellation

$4,000 for each day of hearing or mediation; $500 file fee for scheduled hearings or mediations which are cancelled with more than four weeks’ notice; $1,500 fee for cancellations with less than four weeks notice; $600 for cancellation of first day of expedited hearings (OLRA s.49 hearings, regular cancellation fees apply for continuation dates); Note: parties will also be charged for costs, including meeting rooms, travel outside GTA. HST will be applied to all fees.

Related Adjudication Experience

I have been a part-time member of the the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) (January 2015 to January 2020); a part-time member of the Public Service Grievance Board (PSGB) (1994-1998); the Human Rights Board of Inquiry (BOI) (1994-1998); a member of the HRTO Advisory Practice Committee; and I served as the Law Society of Upper Canada’s representative on the Ontario Judicial Council from 2009-2013.

Board Member of the Ontario Labour Management Arbitrators’ Association (OLMAA). Member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) and the Black Female Lawyers Network (BFLN). Board Chair of the Equality Effect (a legal charitable organization that has litigated on behalf of women and children).
