David Mombourquette

David Mombourquette has been General Counsel of the Atlantic Canada Regional Council of Carpenters, Millwrights and Allied Workers (ACRC) since 2017. He is responsible for all arbitration, court, and labour board proceedings in the Atlantic provinces, and he also provides strategic advice to the ACRC Executive Committee and its various local unions.

Prior to joining the ACRC, David was a partner in the firm of Pink Larkin, where he represented a broad range of private sector and public sector unions throughout New Brunswick. He previously worked with major law firms in Halifax and Toronto and as in-house counsel with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) and Ontario Hydro. David is a member of the New Brunswick Law Society and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. He is on the Board of Directors for the York Care Foundation that supports the York Manor nursing home in Fredericton.

David holds an M.I.R. from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. and a B.B.A. from the University of New Brunswick. He was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2008, the Nova Scotia Bar in 1998, and the Ontario Bar in 1988.
