Dr. Mike Condra

Dr. Mike Condra is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Queen's University and has taught in the undergraduate and graduate programs in the Department of Psychology and in the Faculties of Education and Law. For more than two decades, he was the Director of the Department of Health, Counselling and Disability Services at Queen's. Aside from his clinical work, Mike has provided consultation and advice to the university's senior administration on issues involving mental health, students/employees at risk, and lethality. For more than a decade, he was the Coordinator of the university's Threat Assessment Team, and he has also provided training workshops in crisis intervention skills to more than 500 individuals.

Mike has extensive experience in providing public education, training workshops, and consultation on the topics of mental health, stigma reduction, crisis intervention, and suicide risk assessment to post-secondary institutions in Ontario and across Canada. He has presented at national and international conferences on the topics of mental health and risk assessment. He currently provides consultation and training on all topics related to mental health. He is co-author of the recently published text Mental Health Disabilities at Work: A Practical Guide for Employees, Employers and Unions (Lancaster House, 2019).
