Alyssa Rahey is legal counsel and business agent with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 2. She has been practising union side labour law with SEIU for the past five years. Prior to joining SEIU, Alyssa worked as a staff lawyer at Nova Scotia Legal Aid in the Halifax Social Justice office. Alyssa represents Nova Scotia as a regional vice-president on the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
Alyssa holds a B.A. in Human Rights and Political Science from St Thomas University and a J.D. from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law. Alyssa was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019.
