Amanda Hunter has more than 20 years’ experience practising labour and employment law. She regularly represents employers at all levels of Court in Ontario and appears before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Grievance Settlement Board, and labour arbitrators. Amanda is a minimum standards legislation expert, she finds creative ways to solve problems, and has successfully represented management clients in more than 100 hearings and trials. Amanda advises both private and public employers with clients in different industries and sectors including manufacturing, financial services, technology, municipalities, hospitals, and education. Amanda values mentorship, building diversity, inclusion, and equity in the legal profession, finding innovative ways to provide legal services and is a self-proclaimed tree hugger!

After studies at the University of Toronto and the University of Manitoba, Amanda was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999.
