Amer Mushtaq is an employment and human rights lawyer. His practice is focused exclusively in the areas of workplace investigations and training. Amer is also recognized by the Canadian Federal Government as a Senior Workplace Investigator. He is one of the few investigators in Canada who are recognized by the Federal Government to investigate all three streams of workplace investigations including workplace discrimination, harassment and violence, and wrongdoing.
Amer is also the founder of You Counsel, an organization dedicated to providing substantive legal education to the public through online courses. As well, since 2016, Amer has been hosting a legal education channel on Youtube which provides lectures on substantive legal topics to assist self-represented litigants and legal professionals. This channel has over 5,000 subscribers and hosts over 155 lectures.
