Ben Zorn is union activist who somehow crossed the picket line without tripping. Or so he thinks. As Manager of Labour Relations for the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees he works with over 50 staff providing front line labour relations services for over 100,000 union members. Ben now spends his days sitting on the other side of the table—occasionally catching his reflection and double checking which hat he’s supposed to be wearing. Armed with firsthand experience, a sense of humor, and a healthy respect for irony, Ben specializes in navigating the delicate space between “solidarity forever” and “let’s talk about operational requirements.”
