Jenna Brookfield is a human rights representative with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Her work includes assisting local unions and their members with equity issues, as well as advocacy work for the protection of equity deserving workers. Jenna has represented workers on various boards and committees: she is currently on the board of directors for the Nova Scotia Workers Compensation Board, a governor for the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), and a past chair of the Board of Directors for AWARE-NS, the Nova Scotia Health and Community Services Safety Association, from 2016 to 2020. Prior to joining CUPE, Jenna worked as health and safety officer and labour affairs officer with the federal government, where she focused on inspections and investigations in federally regulated workplaces.
