Jodi Edmunds works as the Director of Employee and Labour Relations at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) where she is responsible for the development and implementation of NAIT’s labour relations strategy, including the negotiation and administration of academic and support collective agreements. She also oversees and manages other aspects of the human resources (HR) services at NAIT, including recruitment, ability management and HR consulting. Prior to working for NAIT, Jodi worked for United Nurses of Alberta for 20 years representing the rights of registered nurses under their collective agreements and the Health Professions Act. Jodi is a volunteer public adjudicator for the Law Society of Alberta where she sits on three person panels, adjudicating cases involving lawyer misconduct through the interpretation and application of the Legal Professions Act and the Law Society’s Code and Rules.
