Kimberley Turner has been practicing Administrative Law, with an emphasis on labour law and professional regulation, since 1985. She regularly lectures and provides educational training on topics including labour law, employment law, human rights, professional regulation, governance, practice management, and advocacy skills.

Kim sits on the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Professional Regulation Policies and Procedures Committee and the Society’s Ethics Advisory Committee. She previously chaired Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Continuing Professional Development Working Group, co-chaired the CBANS Labour Law Subsection, and served on the Nova Scotia Q.C. Advisory Committee and the CBA Nova Scotia Council. Kim is recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for her expertise in Labour and Employment Law and Legal Malpractice Law. In 2013, she was named Best Lawyers’ Labour Lawyer of the Year for Halifax.
