Kyle Smith’s nearly 20-year career spans a variety of human resources roles including workplace restoration which has been his primary focus since 2018, first to establish a workplace restoration program within a large public-sector, multi-union environment and subsequently as an independent consultant. He is currently the Principal Consultant of Harmonic Resonance Workplace Solutions Ltd. which he established in 2021 to provide restorative workplace support to organizations across Alberta.
Having worked in operational, employer, and union roles, Kyle brings a balanced and practical perspective shaped by experience on both sides of the bargaining table. He has addressed a broad range of employment and labour relations matters in public- and private-sector organizations, both during negotiations and day-to-day operations.
Kyle is recognized for his measured, relationship-focused approach to complex and sensitive workplace challenges. Grounded in respect, collaboration, and accountability, his work focuses on helping organizations rebuild trust, strengthen workplace culture, and restore productive working relationships.
