Leanne Rosinski is the Associate Director, Labour Relations, at the Association of Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA) and oversees the services provided by labour relations officers to approximately 4,000 academic staff. Leanne also provides employee and labour relations consulting services, conducts workplace investigations, and acts as a nominee for arbitrations. Leanne received her Bachelor of Education in 1994 and taught elementary and junior high school before she transitioned to the university teaching environment. Leanne holds a Master of Laws in Labour Relations and Employment Law, and certificates in labour relations, labour-management relations, grievances and arbitrations, workplace restoration, and information access and protection of privacy. She is also a Professional Investigator licensed through Alberta Justice and Solicitor General, a Commissioner for Oaths in the Province of Alberta, and is CIAPP-Certified. On March 14, 2023, Leanne was appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council to the Alberta Labour Relations Board for a three-year-term ending April 30, 2026. On March 12, 2025, Leanne was appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council to the Alberta Education Board of Reference roster for a five-year-term ending March 11, 2030.
