Maeve Biggar is a seasoned union-side labour lawyer that has represented both public and private sector clients in a range of forums, including grievance arbitration, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. She has extensive litigation experience in all labour and employment matters including collective agreement interpretation, discipline and discharge, human rights, long-term disability, occupational health and safety, collective bargaining, and workplace investigations. Maeve is currently in-house legal counsel at the Ontario Nurses’ Association. Prior to this, she was a partner at a boutique labour and employment firm.
