Magda Laljee is principal of Curiositas Consulting and a workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and governance practitioner with more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in municipal regulatory and enforcement environments. She works with municipalities, Indigenous governments and organizations, public-sector agencies, and non-profit organizations to address complex workplace conflict, conduct workplace investigations, support labour relations processes, and strengthen governance and decision-making systems across unionized and non-unionized environments.
Drawing on a background in enforcement, mediation, and conflict coaching, Magda supports organizations in navigating complex workplace issues with an emphasis on procedural fairness, practical resolution, and sustainable outcomes. She facilitates constructive dialogue and helps parties move beyond positional stances to surface underlying interests and workplace realities. Magda designs and facilitates dialogue circles, restorative processes, and conflict interventions aimed at rebuilding trust, strengthening communication, and restoring effective working relationships. Her approach is trauma-informed and grounded in organizational and historical context.
Magda holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Conflict Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Royal Roads University. She is currently completing a Certificate in Indigenous Leadership, Governance, and Management Excellence through the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and serves as a Conflict Coach and Sessional Instructor with the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
