Mark Janson is Senior Pensions Officer with Canada’s largest union, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Mark assists CUPE bargaining units across the country during pension negotiations and advises the union on pension policy debates regarding both public and workplace pension plans. Mark has previously worked on pensions as a staff representative for several other unions and in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
Mark holds a master’s degree in industrial relations and human resources from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in history from Dalhousie University.
