Matthew Craig is a partner in the Mathews, Dinsdale and Clark LLP’s Toronto office, where he practises in all areas of labour and employment law. Matt’s experience includes advising provincially and federally regulated employers on grievances and arbitrations; collective bargaining; labour board applications; union organizing; wrongful dismissal actions; human rights applications; and workplace health and safety prosecutions.

Matt was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017 after graduating from law school and completing his articles with the firm. Prior to law school, Matt enjoyed a brief stint playing professional hockey in Europe before returning to join one of the largest professional sports unions in North America. In that role, Matt gained experience in the context of professional sports collective bargaining as well as an appreciation for the dynamics of labour relations in multi-national organizations.
