Paula Schumph is the general counsel for the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE), where she has served for 24 years. She offers strategic legal advice to the NAPE Executive and staff on complex labour relations matters and mentors the team responsible for grievance arbitration and professional discipline. Though she represents NAPE at all levels of court, she is most frequently engaged with the N.L. Labour Relations Board. Paula also provides representation to members engaged in long-term disability and disability pension appeal processes.
