Roger Love, B.A., J.D., is a human rights lawyer based in Toronto, Ontario. He currently serves as legal counsel for the Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC). Prior to joining the OHRC, he worked as legal counsel and client services manager for the Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC). Roger has litigated several cases regarding anti-Black racism, disability, and harassment in the provision of services and employment before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) including JKB v. Peel (Police Services Board), Wickham v. Hong Shing Chinese Restaurant, and Ben Saad v. 1544982 Ontario Inc. In addition to his work before the HRTO, Roger has appeared before various levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada. He participated in the United Nations Fellowship Programme for people of African descent and is a past coordinator for the Anti-Discrimination Intensive Program at the HRLSC.
