Sophie Landry Mockler has been a lawyer for the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees since January 2012. She graduated from Law School in 1995 and worked in family law for the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission, as well as a public trustee for the province of New Brunswick. She has been an active member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association since June 1996. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
Sophie represents union members at arbitration boards, in both official languages, and also represents members on appeal to the Court of King’s Bench and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. Sophie also offers advice to the labour relations officers of the union on a wide range of questions related to files and grievances.
