Cheryl Wiles Pooran leads the labour and employment group at PooranLaw, a law firm dedicated to supporting broader public sector employers in the disability and care sectors. Cheryl provides advice and representation to both unionized and non-union employers in every aspect of human resources law. She represents dozens of care sector employers in bargaining and navigating complex challenges associated with chronic underfunding, pay equity, staffing shortages, and managing competing interests between vulnerable clients and staff. Cheryl and her team are committed to supporting not-for-profit employers and deliver free biweekly lunch n’ learn webinars for Care Sector employers across Ontario.
