Maryth Yachnin, B.A. (Queen’s) 2001, J.D. (Toronto) 2004, was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2005. She is the Research and Test Case Lawyer at IAVGO Community Legal Clinic, a clinic specializing in advocacy on behalf of injured workers. She has practiced in workers’ compensation litigation, and related areas of law, at two legal aid clinics, with a special interest in advocacy alongside precarious and migrant injured workers. She has also worked in private practice focused on administrative, union-side labour, and civil litigation, at Legal Aid Ontario assisting clinics across Ontario with research and litigation, and at the Office of the Integrity Commissioner doing public sector ethics investigative work.
