David is one of Canada’s leading mediators and investigators. He is a Roster Mediator for International Olympic issues with the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and an Arbitrator and Mediator for Canadian Olympic organizations at the Sports Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada, dealing with issues like team selection and doping.
David has conducted numerous and comprehensive workplace investigations. His clients have included one of Canada’s largest cannabis companies, the Nuclear Industry, Order in Council appointments, and lobby groups. He completed a thorough review of the Olympic coaching culture for Wrestling Canada Lutte.
David has expertise in discrimination and harassment issues having served as the Alternate Discrimination Counsel for the Law Society of Ontario from 2005-2017. He also has experience dealing with aboriginal issues having been an Adjudicator for the Residential School Independent Assessment Process, and as legal counsel for the Inuit in the settlement of their land claim and the creation of Nunavut.
