Andrew graduated from Carlton University in 2008 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, concentration in Political Theory. Throughout university Andrew worked as a researcher for a public sector union. After graduation, he worked with a publicly traded company in the seniors housing sector and spent a few years working as a labour relations manager.
Andrew became a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario in 2010 and joined Hall Labour Relations in the fall of 2011 where he continues to work as a paralegal and consultant. At Hall Labour, Andrew represents employers in private, municipal, and public sectors primarily in the health care field across Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia in collective bargaining, interest and rights arbitrations, and on matters before the respective provincial labour boards. Andrew uses a practical labour relations approach to also assist his clients with dispute resolution regarding grievances, human rights issues, and investigations.
In addition to consulting, Andrew has been appointed to act as the employer-side nominee on Boards of Arbitration in a number of cases. Andrew has also spoken at several programs related to labour relations and human resources throughout his career.
