Craig Lawrence is a partner in the Dentons Canada LLP Employment and Labour group, with a practice focused on collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, union certifications, and work stoppages. He regularly acts as chief negotiator in collective bargaining for a wide variety of private and public employers and has advocated before a broad array of labour arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Ontario Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

In addition to his labour practice, Craig represents employers in a variety of employment matters, including wrongful dismissal litigation, workforce reorganizations, and employment standards, and frequently appears before Ontario courts on behalf of clients. He also has significant expertise in pay equity, advising employers responding to audits and complaints before the Ontario Pay Equity Commission and the Ontario Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal.

With a focus on practical solutions, Craig collaborates closely with clients, ensuring they receive legal advice that reflects the realities of their business or organization. Beyond assessing legal risks, he emphasizes strategies and solutions that best protect his clients’ interests.
