After commencing her career in private practice, Sharmila Clark became a member of the City of Toronto’s Employment Law group in 2001. She assumed the role of practice lead in 2018, and is now the Deputy City Solicitor, Employment Law. Sharmila has extensive experience in the field of labour and employment law including complex arbitrations, collective bargaining, and numerous speaking engagements. She recently completed the Graduate Diploma in Public Administration through the University of Western Ontario. When she is not dealing with work-related disputes, she spends her time negotiating conflicts between her three children.
