Ian Pickard is a partner with McInnes Cooper, where he provides labour and employment advice to large employers in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. He acts as chief negotiator of collective agreements, provides support in the collective bargaining process, assists in the management of labour disputes, and represents employers in all types of arbitrations. Ian also regularly represents employers in human rights matters and regularly speaks on a wide range of labour law issues. For the last number of years, Ian has been named in Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in labour law.
Ian holds a B.A. from Mount Allison University and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University. He was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1992 and the P.E.I. Bar in 2013.
