Jacqueline Beltgens is a lawyer with Beltgens Law whose practice is limited to acting as a third party neutral. She has extensive training and experience in mediation, adjudication, and workplace investigations. Ms. Beltgens was a member of the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, a member and acting chair of the B.C. Mental Health Review Board, and is presently the chair of the Surface Rights Board. She has been in-house counsel and in private practice in Vancouver and Victoria, has taught law, and has lectured on human rights and alternate dispute resolution. She is a member of the Law Society of B.C., the Canadian Bar Association, Mediate BC (Civil Roster), and Alternative Dispute Resolution of British Columbia (Chartered Mediator). Ms. Beltgens obtained a Juris Doctor from University of British Columbia, a Diploma of Technology (Engineering) from the B.C. Institute of Technology, and completed Mediating Disputes certification through the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation.
