Heather Robertson attended the University of Regina where she obtained a Bachelor of Human Justice Degree in 1998. She attended the University of Manitoba to pursue her legal career and obtained an LL.B. in 2009. She was called to the Saskatchewan bar in June 2010.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Heather worked for several years for the Government of Saskatchewan as a family services worker. In that role, Heather provided child protection intervention and referrals to community services for adults, youth, and children.
In June 2010, Heather joined Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP in Regina, Saskatchewan, where she built a practice highly concentrated in labour law, representing and advising unions on a wide variety of legal matters. She regularly represents both private and public sector unions at the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, in labour arbitration, and before all levels of court in Saskatchewan. Heather is currently a partner at Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
