Adrienne Liang is a union-side labour lawyer who has been in-house Legal Counsel to Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/SEFPO) since 2012. In this role, she provides strategic advice and representation to the union and its members in relation to a wide range of legal issues. Prior to joining OPSEU/SEFPO, Adrienne was in private practice with a respected labour and employment boutique in Toronto where she gained extensive experience in litigation and mediation. Adrienne has represented unions and workers before a variety of administrative tribunals, including the Grievance Settlement Board, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, as well as in various levels of court. She also has experience with Coroner’s Inquests. Adrienne has significant expertise in professional regulation and regularly represents regulated professionals in matters before their professional regulators, including in complaint investigations, health inquiries, and disciplinary proceedings.

Active in her community, Adrienne is a past president of the Board of the Chinese Canadian National Council – Toronto Chapter (CCNCTO) and a former regional vice-president (Ontario) of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers (CALL). She speaks English, French, and Cantonese and is working on her Spanish and Mandarin.

A graduate of McGill University and Osgoode Hall Law School of York University, Adrienne was called to the Bar in 2008.
