Pemme Cunliffe has over 30 years’ experience in the public sector, specializing in labour relations, collective bargaining, nominee work, workplace investigations, and dispute resolution. Since 2016, she was an independent consultant in labour relations specializing in collective bargaining. Currently, she is a part-time vice-chair of the Alberta Labour Relations Board.
From 2007 to October 2016, Pemme was the Director of Labour Relations and Human Resources for Covenant Health, where she was responsible for the implementation and administration of 13 collective agreements with 12 different bargaining units. Also at Covenant Health, she was the lead negotiator of over 70 tables of collective bargaining. With over 20 years as a labour lawyer, Pemme worked as an associate for McLennan Ross from 2001 to 2007.
