Dijana Simonovic is Senior Legal Counsel in the Unifor Legal Department in Toronto. For over 20 years, Dijana has practised labour, employment, and human rights law advocating on behalf of trade unions, associations, and individual employees. Prior to joining Unifor in 2015, Dijana was Senior Legal Counsel at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre for seven years. In her current role, Dijana regularly provides both legal and strategic advice on a wide variety of labour and human rights matters. She has appeared before various levels of courts, labour arbitrators, and administrative tribunals in Ontario and across the country.
Dijana is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002.
