Megan Ashbury is an arbitrator and mediator based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has extensive experience resolving workplace issues in both the public and private sectors.
Megan brings her unique combination of union- and management-side experiences to foster relationships between diverse parties, and find effective, practical, and durable solutions for all parties to a dispute. In her more than 20 years as legal counsel, she has earned a reputation for acting with integrity, bringing a balanced, trauma-informed approach.
Prior to establishing her arbitration and mediation practice, Megan worked on a range of labour, employment, and human rights matters, with a focus on unionized workplaces. She is also informed by her experience with disability and accommodation, collective-bargaining (both union- and management-side), workers’ compensation, and privacy law. In finding the way forward, her approach is pragmatic, responsive, and respectful.
