James Cameron practised labour, employment, and civil litigation for 36 years before “retiring” in 2022.
Since that time, he has issued more than 100 written decisions as an arbitrator in both official languages, as well as assisting parties in many mediations.
He subscribes to the opinion of a Supreme Court judge who noted that the only significant advance made by the legal profession in the last 200 years is the adoption of mediation.
His travel plans for the foreseeable future consist solely of visiting three kids on three continents.
